Gorge Death Teenager Named
A teenager who died in an accident at a gorge has been named as 15-year-old Anthony Quinn.
Emergency services were called to Dollar Glen, in Clackmannanshire, at around 4.10pm yesterday when concerns were raised for Anthony's safety.
It is understood the teenager was with a group of friends at the gorge, which is popular with walkers and features two burns with a number of waterfalls.
Police said the 15-year-old died at the scene and there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
Sergeant Derek McKie, from Police Scotland in Alloa, said: "This is a tragic loss of a young man's life and our sincere condolences are with Anthony's friends and family, who have respectfully requested that they be left to grieve in private at this very sad time.''
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
The research also said there appeared to be a "weakening'' in support for independence.
The controversial policy was introduced in April as part of wider welfare reforms.
The Justice Committee has been carrying out an investigation into the work of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS).
