A man has been arrested after drugs worth an estimated £1.1 million were seized by police.
Officers stopped a car on Cumbernauld Road, in the Muirhead area of Glasgow, on Tuesday and recovered a quantity of drugs believed to be amphetamine.
A further operation at an address in Bothwell, Lanarkshire, uncovered what is thought to be heroin and mixing agents.
The haul has an estimated street value of £1.1 million, Police Scotland said.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the recovery and is being held in police custody.
He is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday.
