The management team behind Scottish boxer Mike Towell, who died on Friday following a televised bout, has said it was not aware of any headache complaints by the fighter before the match.
Man Arrested Over Woman's Death In Newton Mearns
A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman whose body was discovered in her own home.
Police were called to an incident at a house in Beech Avenue, in the upmarket suburb of Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire, at around 11.55pm on Tuesday night.
Xin Xin Liu, 39, believed to be a mother-of-two, was pronounced dead at the property.
Police Scotland said a 38-year-old man has now been arrested over the incident and is being held in police custody.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
