A man has been charged with the murder of a pensioner in the Scottish Borders.
David Farish, 75, was found dead in his home in Broadlea Bank, Galashiels, on Thursday.
His body was discovered about 1.30pm after an anonymous caller contacted the police.
Police Scotland said on Tuesday a 68-year-old man has been arrested and charged with his murder.
The accused is expected to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
