A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a woman whose body was found at a caravan park.
Reported missing last month, the remains of Carol-Anne Taggart, 54, were discovered on Monday at Pettycur Caravan Park in Kinghorn, Fife.
Ross Taggart, 30, was charged with the Dunfermline grandmother's murder at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today.
He also faces charges of attempting to defeat the ends of justice and driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Taggart made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
He will appear in court again next Friday.
Ms Taggart, who owned a unit at the Kinghorn caravan park, was reported missing on December 22.
