Man Stabbed During Mass Brawl In Glasgow

A man's in hospital after being stabbed during a mass brawl in Glasgow.

Trouble broke out on Hathaway Lane in Maryhill on Saturday night, it's thought up to 10 men were involved.

The 30 year old's in a stable condition, police are treating it as attempted murder.

The incident is not believed to be gang-related.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A 30-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being stabbed on on Hathaway Lane at around 8.25pm last night on Hathaway Lane.

"He was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and police are treating it as attempted murder.

"Hathaway Lane and Avenue Park Street remain closed and we are carrying out CCTV and door-to-door enquiries."
