OAP Women in hospital after Fife crash
Two elderly pedestrians have been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
The incident happened on Thursday at about 9.35am on Scoonie Road, Leven, Fife.
Police said a Honda Civic being driven by a 35-year-old woman crashed into the back of a parked Ford B-Max, which then collided with two pedestrians and a wall.
The female pedestrians, aged 91 and 72, were taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy along with the driver of the Honda.
It is understood their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road was temporarily closed but reopened at about 12.30pm when both vehicles had been recovered.
Reform Scotland said only an outright ban on short sentences could bring about change in the justice system.
The SNP leader admitted the word "national" could be "hugely problematic".
A police watchdog probe was launched after the remains of the 52-year-old were found in a house in Dumfries in February last year.
