Police Appeal Over Early Morning Rape In Paisley
A woman has been raped in a street in an early morning attack.
The 43-year-old woman was targeted in Kilnside Road in Paisley, Renfrewshire, sometime between 1am and 4am on Sunday January 29.
Police are viewing CCTV footage and carrying out door to door inquiries as they investigate.
They appealed for information about the incident in the Renfrewshire town.
A police spokesman said: "Inquiries are at an early stage and officers are carrying out door to door inquiries and viewing CCTV footage in an attempt to gain further information.
"There will be additional patrols in the area and anyone who has information or concerns should speak to the local officers or phone CID at Paisley via 101.''
