Schoolboy Knocked Down In Clydebank
A schoolboy is being treated in hospital after being knocked down by a car in Clydebank.
The incident in Dumbarton Road in the West Dunbartonshire town happened at about 8.30am on Wednesday.
The boy was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment but the extent of his injuries is not known.
Part of the road has been closed while police investigate the crash.
A force spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a report of a boy having been struck by a car on Dumbarton Road.
"He has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.''
Scottish Government waiting-time targets of 18 weeks were missed for 3,666 children in the year to March 2017.
The study found that while some over-60s felt well looked after by prison staff, others were not having their needs met by the system.
We're told it was started deliberately.
