Shots Fired At Glasgow Flat

Police are appealing for information after a firearm was discharged at a flat window in Glasgow.

The incident happened at around 12.25am on Tuesday at Southdeen Avenue in the Drumchapel area.

No one was inside the flat at the time and no one was injured, police said.

A white Ford Transit van was found abandoned nearby on Achamore Road and officers suspect it may be involved in the incident.

Detective Inspector Greig Wilkie said: "Inquiries are continuing in the area with officers carrying out door-to-door inquiries and studying CCTV footage.

"I would urge anyone with information that may assist our inquiry, or who saw the white Ford Transit van in the area around the time of the incident to contact us.''
