Teen In Court Over Man's Death In Glasgow

A teenager has appeared in court charged with murder after the death of a man in a Glasgow street.

Patrick Ferguson, 48, was discovered in Midcroft Avenue in the city's Croftfoot area at about 2.30am on Friday.

Graeme Bell, 18, made no plea or declaration when he was charged with murder during a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, the Crown Office confirmed.

The teenager, from Glasgow, was remanded in custody and the the case was committed for further examination ahead of another expected court appearance next week.
