Theresa May has now signed a letter to trigger Article 50, the start of the official process to leave the EU.
Three Men Suffer Serious Assault
Three men have been seriously assaulted in Kilmarnock.
Officers were called to the scene in Western Road at Knockinlaw Road, Kilmarnock, at around 4.10am on Saturday.
Emergency services attended and all three were taken to hospital.
A 22-year-old remains in Crosshouse Hospital in a stable condition while a 19-year-old is currently in Ayr Hospital where staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
Another 22-year-old was released following treatment.
Detective Inspector William McDicken said: ''This was a very serious attack and it is critical that we trace whoever is responsible as soon as possible.
''I would urge anyone with information that could assist with our investigation to contact police at Kilmarnock by calling 101.
''Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls will be anonymous.''
