Protests against Donald Trump have begun across Scotland ahead of his inauguration as the 45th president of the United States.
Woman With Dementia Still Missing
Police are continuing their search for 88 year old Janet McKay who has been missing from Knightswood in Glasgow since noon on Wednesday 16 September.
Officers are reviewing CCTV and visiting previous addresses in an attempt to locate Janet, who has dementia.
Janet is known to travel by bus around the Knightswood, Scotscoun, Glasgow City Centre, Govan, Largs and Helensburgh areas. Bus travellers are asked to look out for Janet and report any sightings to police.
Inspector Stuart Clemenson said:
"Given the period of time Mrs McKay has now been missing, we are concerned for her safety and well-being. As you can imagine her family is extremely upset and just want her home safe and well. We are grateful for the assistance of the public in sharing information via social media platforms and continue to appeal to people to look out for her and contact police if you have seen her.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Janet’s whereabouts is asked to call officers at Drumchapel Police Office on the non-emergency number 101.
