A yellow "be aware" warning for heavy rain has been issued for large parts of Scotland.
Heavy showers, along with gale force winds are expected to last throughout Sunday and into the early hours of Monday in the southern and western regions of Scotland.
The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (Sepa) also issued flood warnings for parts of the Tayside region.
Parts of the UK are also bracing themselves for Storm Imogen, which is expected to hit southern England and Wales on Monday.
Tracts of coastal Devon and Cornwall have been told to be prepared for large waves and localised flooding.
Forecasters said the morning rush hour will be ''especially impacted'' as Imogen tracks eastwards across an area south of the M4.
