Adele's 21 denied 24th week at no. 1 in US

The Rolling In The Deep star's album has been dethroned by Bruce Springsteen's latest effort Wrecking Ball.

Adele's dominance on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart has been haltered by veteran rocker Bruce this week.

The Set Fire To The Rain singer was hoping to make it to 24 weeks at the summit of the chart with her second studio album 21 which would have equaled records set by Prince and the soundtrack to the movie Saturday Night Fever.

However, she drops one place into the second spot after Bruce scores his tenth number one album with latest record Wrecking Ball.

To date, Adele's sophomore LP, 21, has sold almost 20 million copies worldwide.
