Adele to get singing lessons

Despite record-breaking albums, reports suggest she's looking to improve her best-selling vocals.

The 'Someone Like You' star has succeeded where many have failed in the past, in the quest to crack the USA.

However, despite topping the album charts on both sides of the Atlantic, selling over 3 million copies of her '21' album in the process, the word is that she's getting a vocal coach.

A source told The Sun that she's looking to secure the services of Ron Anderson, regarded as one of the best voice coaches around, having tutored the likes of Alicia Keys and Joss Stone.

His methods focus on minimising the strain on the vocal chords in order to prevent damage.

A source told the newspaper: "There are commonly two approaches singers take. They are called 'singing through your chest' or 'singing through your head'.

"Singing through your chest can increase the chances of callouses and nodules appearing on the vocal chords. But the latter approach drastically decreases the chances of those problems occurring.

"Adele sings more through her chest at the moment."
