Adele cancels all 2011 shows

Adele has cancelled all her remaining live dates for 2011 as she bids to cure serious throat problems.

The star had been diagnosed with a vocal cord haemorrhage. She will undergo surgery in a bid to cure the problems which have threatened to wreck her voice forever.

The singer has been forced to cancel a further string of shows which she had been due to play in the UK next month, to allow her to recover.

A statement on her website reads,
