Adele To Perform At Oscars 2013

The Rolling In The Deep singer will take to the stage for the first time in twelve months.

After weeks of speculation The Someone Like You singer has confirmed that she will be performing live at next months Oscars Awards ceremony.

'It's an honour to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again'.

'It's something I've never experienced and probably only ever will once,' beamed Adele.

The Official Academy Awards Twitter account yesterday posted 'Best 4 Words Ever: Adele Performing At #Oscars' also confirming the appearance.

'We have enormous respect of Adele's unique artistry as a songwriter and a singer,' show producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan added.

'We believe her performance of 'Skyfall' will be an exciting Oscar moment.'

The multi-platinum-selling artist has already picked up the gong for Best Original Song for 'Skyfall' at the Golden Globes 2013.

She dedicated her award to partner Simon Konecki and her newborn son, whom she is rumoured to have called Angelo James.
