Adele plans to leave London

Adele is considering moving out of London over fears that pollution levels could damage her voice.

The 'Rolling in the Deep' star is currently on the mend following throat surgery and now she's revealed a plan to move away from the 'big smoke' to West Sussex.

"The operation went well but she still needs to take good care of herself", a source told the Mirror.

"Adele is a London girl through and through, but she’s never been particularly into the showbiz circuit so when it was suggested she move out of the city, she agreed immediately."

Tottenham-born Adele ironically penned the lyrics 'I like it in the city when the air is so thick and opaque' in her 2007 hit 'Chasing Pavements' but it seems she's ready to move away.

"The idea is for her to live in the countryside, away from the capital’s smog and pollution", the source continued.

"She's desperate to be fit for the Grammys and be back singing as soon as possible."
