But who is he?
Adele to sing James Bond theme?
Adele is reportedly recording the theme tune for the forthcoming James Bond film, Skyfall, at Abbey Road Studios.
The 24-year-old 'Someone Like You' star was spotted at the London studios - made famous by The Beatles - last month, according to The Sun.
Adele appeared to hint at the possibility when she appeared on Jonathan Ross last year: Well, [my new song] is actually a theme, what I've got to do. Wow, that's really giving something away. It's a concept. One song.'
The soundtrack is allegedly being composed by Thomas Newman, who has previously written themes for films such as Road to Perdition, The Shawshank Redemption, and WALL.E.
The James Bond theme has been sung by such icons as Shirley Bassey, Duran Duran, and Madonna.
This is for a very serious reason.
