Cheryl's time to waste

The down-to-earth star calls council to order wheelie bin

Despite being hugely popular popstar and a millionaire, Cheryl Cole didn't wait around for her army of assistants to do her dirty work for her.

The "Promise This " star picked up the phone and called Enfield council when she needed a wheelie bin for her rubbish disposal.

The council employee who answered the call was stunned to hear the star at the other end of the phone.

Cheryl, who has recently moved into a £3,500 a week rented house in Hadley Wood, just outside London, proved she is still a simple girl at heart, despite her fame and fortune.
