George Michael to play Olympics closing ceremony
George Michael has confirmed that he will be playing at the Olympics closing ceremony this Sunday!
The 'White Light' singer is one of the most successful British musicians of all time, selling over 100 million records worldwide, so it seems fitting that he should perform at such an occasion.
'Hey everyone, how are you,' tweeted George. 'Spending most of the next week rehearsing like crazy for the Olympic closing ceremony.....
'Obviously a bit nervous not having played for nearly a year, but rehearsals sounding great so far!'
The Spice Girls are also heavily rumoured to be reuniting for the concert, which takes place this Sunday (12th August).
