George Michael to record duet with Adele?

The former Wham! man is reportedly set to collaborate with the 23-year-old hit maker.

George flew in from Australia to present Adele with the coveted Mastercard Album of the Year prize at the BRIT Awards 2012.

The Faith singer has been recording new material since recovering from a bout of pneumonia that forced the 48-year-old to cancel a series of shows last year.

'George is working on his album for the first time since his life-threatening illness and he's in great shape,' a source allegedly divulged. 'It is no secret that he adores Adele.

'He even left his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz in Australia for three days while he flew in to present Adele with her Brit.

'Adele has been an admirer of George's tunes for as long as she can remember,' continued the source, 'and was so touched that George presented her [with her] Brit Award.'

What a collaboration that would make - together they have sold over 125 million records worldwide!
