Jessie J: "I might record a folk album"

Jessie has revealed she might be shaking things up for her next album.

The Price Tag singer told fans to expect the unexpected when she hits the studio to begin recording the follow-up to her debut album Who You Are .

"I might go in and start writing a folk album," she said. "I've always said music shouldn't be ignorant – I love musical theatre, and I brought elements of that into my first album."

"Dude It Like A Dude , Who You Are , Price Tag if you heard those songs…some people would say, 'You don't know who you are.' But that's what I do."

Jessie added: "I get up and I wear different clothes everyday and music should be a reflection of that, and a reflection of what it is today. Don't ever be ignorant with music; listen to folk, listen to jazz, listen to blues, listen to musical theatre because it's not cheese, it's good."

It's all change for Jessie at the moment, with her broken foot finally on the mend as well as unveiling a brand new dip-dyed haircut:
