Russian student Anastasia Obukhova - who is currently based in New York - sent a letter to Gaga which was intercepted by the popstar's security.
The alarming missive said, "You come to my dreams. I want to die and I want to die together with you. It is not only you who will die. I will shoot a bullet through my head too."
Lady Gaga took a restraining order against the 26-year-old student, who has to stay at least 500 yards away from the star.
