Lady Gaga named "Woman of The Year"
MTV names Gaga "Woman Of The Year"
MTV has named Lady Gaga "Woman Of The Year" for the second year running.
Despite not having a new album out in 2010, the popstar has managed not only to sustain, but to increase her chart success.
According to MTV, her outspoken attitude against homophobia and breach of civil rights and her much talked about video for single "Telephone " have also contributed to her winning the accolade.
Lady Gaga 's second studio album, "Born This Way " is slated for release in February.
It made more than $1bn (£799m) at the box office and delighted children across the world, but Frozen's producer has revealed the film nearly ended very differently.
The first line-up poster for Glastonbury 2017 has been revealed, with Katy Perry, The XX and Biffy Clyro among the acts announced.
The organisers of the Oscars will continue using accountants PricewaterhouseCoopers despite last month's blunder that led to the wrong film being named best picture.
