Madonna opens up about her critics and her age
She's one of the most famous people in the world, but even after a 30 year career, criticism can still get to her.
In an interview with US magazine Harper's Bazaar Madonna's says that people always put her age after her name when they write about her.
"It's almost like they're saying, 'Here she is, but remember she's this age, so she's not that relevant anymore" said the star.
Madonna also admits that she still feels like the awkward teenager who didn't fit in at school and that sensation has never left her.
"For some reason, I feel like I never left high school" says the star "because I still feel that if you don't fit in, you're going to get your a** kicked.
"That hasn't really changed for me. I've always been acutely aware of differences and the way you are supposed to act if you want to be popular."
