Mariah Carey on her Christmas classic

Mariah says she's humbled by the success of her 'All I Want for Christmas' hit.

Since it was first released in 1994, the track has spent more than 50 weeks in the UK Top 40 and sold millions of copies worldwide.

Sales are expected to carry on rising with the new version she recorded alongside heartthrob Justin Bieber as well as the cover Michael Buble penned for his 'Christmas' album.

She told The Sun: "I'm amazed and humbled by its popularity, even all these years later. And I think it's great that people have the song as a ringtone"

"Who'd have thought, all those years ago when I wrote it, that it would still be having an impact today?"

It's not just famous artists who want a piece of the action as the crew aboard HMS Ocean performed a parody of the classic track after learning they were heading back to the UK for Christmas.
