'Triumphant (Get 'Em) ' will come out at the beginning of August
Mariah's 'difficult pregnancy'
Mariah Carey's revealed the struggles she faced while carrying twins.
Moroccan and Monroe were welcomed into the world on April 30th by Mariah and husband Nick Cannon (pictured), and despite being over the moon, the 'Hero' star has revealed the "rough road" she had to endure.
The 41 year-old said: "February was bleak for me. I was so uncomfortable."
"Being pregnant with twins is different than anything. They were always saying to me, 'Oh but it's so worth it', and I'm like, 'Yeah, that's easy for you to say when you're not the one whose feet are so big.' It turned into a really difficult time."
"Because my body went through so much holding those twins in; you have to keep them in as long as possible because it's a sacrifice that you make for them, and so literally I was like 47 weeks pregnant."
Mariah was speaking during an appearance on US shopping channel HSN to promote her jewellery line and suggested they were good presents for men to buy mums-to-be.
As well as struggling with pregnancy, Carey also revealed she has had to alter some aspects of her regular beauty regime, such as keeping her nails short, and described her post-pregnancy body as "not-so amazing."
Mariah has compiled a video of her favourite memories of the late, great Whitney Houston.
Mariah Carey has asked fans to “pray” for her husband Nick Cannon, who has been hospitalised with kidney failure.
Mariah says she's humbled by the success of her 'All I Want for Christmas' hit.
