Olly looks to friends for inspiration

Olly Murs gets lyrical ideas for love elsewhere due his lack of 'romantic experience'.

The Please Don't Let Me Go star admits he lacks experience in love, paying extra attention to his pals' relationships to give him inspiration.

He told BANG Showbiz: "You can only experience so much as a 27 year old, I've only had three or four girlfriends since I went to school."

"So when one of them has split up with their girlfriend you find yourself there, going, 'So... How upset are you? Keep explaining, Were you crying the other night? OK, explain,' and writing it all down."

"You can't delve into everything, you can go to your friends though, see what they're going through."

Olly is currently filming with the UK X-Factor as they travel around the country looking for the 'next big thing'. This year Murs will be hosting the spin-off show Xtra Factor alongside Caroline Flack, replacing last year's host Konnie Huq.
