Rihanna: I’m not ready for marriage
Rihanna has quashed rumours she plans to marry Matt Kemp by admitting “I’m not ready for that yet”.
The pop star has been dating professional baseball player Matt for eight months, and their relationship appears to be going from strength to strength.
However, the singer has revealed she’s tired of people constantly asking if wedding bells are on the horizon, as she feels too young to settle down.
“No - there are no plans – I’m only 22!” she said when asked her if she and Matt want to tie the knot.
“I’ve heard the word marriage 400 times in the past few days, but no I’m not ready for that yet.”
The star is looking forward to her good friend Katy Perry and fiancé Russell Brand’s upcoming Indian ceremony though, which is expected to take place in the next few weeks. Rihanna organised her fellow pop singer’s bachelorette party and is expected to be chief bridesmaid on the big day. The gorgeous star says there’s no competition between her and Katy in the music world, or Lady Gaga, as they all have a unique sound.
“I’m not all about who’s better between Rihanna, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. All three of us can’t be number one at the same time. However, we can all be number one at what we do,” she explained.
