Rihanna keen for Glee cameo
Rihanna has hinted she would consider appearing in an episode of 'Glee'.
The R&B singer is the latest in a long line of stars who have revealed they are a fan of the popular American television show – about a group of high school students who belong to a musical club.
The first two seasons of 'Glee' have seen a host of famous faces shooting cameo appearances – including Britney Spears, Olivia Newton John, Gwyneth Paltrow, Neil Patrick Harris and Josh Groban. Other stars rumoured to be appearing in the show are Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Susan Boyle and Sir Paul McCartney.
Rihanna – who has launched her acting career with a role in new action movie 'Battleship' - has now confessed she would love to shoot scenes for the show, which stars Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison.
"I have seen a couple of episodes and being in 'Glee' would be fun," Rihanna is quoted as saying. "I'd do it if they asked me.”
The first season saw singers in the glee club perform songs by stars including Madonna and Lady Gaga. Rihanna insists that if she doesn’t get to make a cameo appearance, she would be happy for her back catalogue to be featured in a special episode dedicated to her music.
“I’d lend my songs to them for sure,” the 22-year-old star added.
