Barlow: meeting Rita Marley was a 'privilege'
Gary Barlow has spoken about his meeting with reggae singer Bob Marley's widow, Rita.
Gary has been busy recruiting musicians from across the Commonwealth to play on his tribute song for the Queen, written to commemorate her Diamond Jubilee.
While in Jamaica, Gary met Rita Marley, who used to sing in the I Threes. The I Threes sang on classic hits like Could You Be Loved and I Shot The Sherriff for Bob Marley and the Wailers.
'We went across the island recording musicians,' explained Gary to The Sun. 'Meeting Bob Marley's wife was a privilege.'
