Gary Barlow and Kate Winslet to be honoured by the Queen

The musician and the actress will be given an OBE and CBE respectively as part of the Queen's Birthday Honours

Gary Barlow will receive an OBE for his services to music, whilst Kate Winslet a CBE for her services to the British film industry, according to the Sun.

Barlow is one of Britain's most popular and loved musicians, whilst Winslet is considered one of the most talented and successful actresses, with six Oscar nominations under her belt and one win, for her role in the film 'The Reader'.

The list of honours will be confirmed later today (11.06.12).
