Gary Barlow: "I won't be going solo"
Gary says he won't be following in Robbie's footsteps and embarking on a solo career.
The X-Factor judge reveals that the hectic schedule Take That have had over the last few years is the reason the boys are currently on a break, but there's no such luck for Gary.
"I keep reminding people that the last five years for us have been insane so after this massive tour and two years back with Rob, it’s time for a bit of time off – except for me," he told Metro.
He went on to say that despite the odd one-off solo gig he won't be heading for a Robbie-like solo tour or album.
"Actually getting serious and doing a record? No – not for me," he added.
The 40-year-old says that he's also finding it much easier now to deal with the intense media spotlight that surrounds him.
"I had great advice about six weeks ago to stop reading anything, so I have. I should have learned that years ago, it’s been a great trick."
