The Wanted are 'shocked' by US success

The Glad You Came stars admit their success Stateside took them by surprise, by say they've 'loved every minute of it'.

The Wanted reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in America after their song Glad You Came was featured on the hit TV show Glee.

'It's been long and tiring but it's been pretty shocking for us, in a good way,' revealed Max George on Daybreak. 'The reception in the US has been amazing, like it was here.

'We've loved every minute of it,' beamed the 23-year-old singer.

The Wanted were the first British band to have such success with their first US single since Take That went to number 7 in the US with Back For Good in 1995.

The band's new single, Chasing The Sun, was penned by their friend Example.
