Whitney Houston in rehab
Whitney Houston is back in rehab for drug and alcohol treatment.
The 47-year-old singer checked herself into an out-patients programme last weekend.
The singer has undergone two previous rehab stints in 2005 and 2006 for an alleged addiction to crack cocaine.
Her spokesperson confirmed, "Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment.
"Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process."
According to the website TMZ, the treatment programme allows Whitney - who was pictured at a Prince concert last weekend - to go out in public as long as she has a monitor.
The late star has left the bulk of her estate to her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
Dresses and jewellery that once belonged to the late star will go up for auction next month.
Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse will both be honoured at the ceremony tomorrow night.
