They fell in love on the set of 'Mr and Mrs Smith', and now, seven years and six children later, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are ready to get married.

Brad proposed to Angelina with a custom made ring he designed with jeweller Robert Procop.

A source for Pitt confirmed the news of the engagement, saying 'It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy'.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are expected to get married in their French castle in the summer.

This will be the third marriage for Jolie who was married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and later Billy Bob Thornton and the second for Pitt, whose former wife is Jennifer Aniston
