Princess Diana's Dresses
See the pictures of a new exhibition of the late Princess of Wales' most glamorous dresses at Kensington Palace.
1. Princess Diana's Dresses
The collection of five outfits, called Diana: Glimpses Of A Modern Princess, is one of a number of exhibitions to open following a £12 million restoration of Kensington Palace, her former home. Built in 1605, the palace has been home to some of the UK's best-known royals, including George II, Queen Victoria, Princess Margaret and, of course, Diana.
2. Princess Diana's Catherine Walker dress
This Catherine Walker fuchsia and purple silk chiffon dress was worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, in Thailand for the Royal tour in February 1988. We love the sari style, such understated sophistication - classic Diana.
3. Princess Diana's Versace dress
This sleek Gianni Versace dress is one of our favourites in the collection. What do you think?

5. Princess Diana's cocktail dress
Bellville Sassoon Lorcan Mullany's elegant sequined cocktail dress, worn by Diana at a performance by the London Symphony Orchestra in 1989, is typical of Diana's simple yet striking style.

Emanuel was one of the Princess of Wales' favourite designers - this beautiful gown was worn by Diana on her first official engagement with Prince Charles on March 9, 1981 at Goldsmith's Hall.
