Alongside Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis, Greg was one of three British Olympians to win a Gold Medal within the space of an hour on Saturday night. Greg won the Long Jump!
Greg Rutherford says that competing on home turf worked in his favour. 'I used it as a great opportunity more than anything,' Greg beams. 'Having a home crowd was absolutely amazing, every time we stepped onto the runway, the crowd went absolutely crazy. I genuinely felt like the crowd was lifting me when I took off. Now I have Gold Medal. It's just such a great feeling.'

Adrian Moorhouse knows all about winning a Gold medal. The British former swimmer won the 100 m breaststroke at the Seoul Olympics in 1988. . 'When I was 12, I was inspired by watching David Wilkie win the Gold in 1976. I saw him win on TV, and I thought "wow, I want to do that" - it connected my dream to reality in a way,' says Adrian. 'Our medallists need to share their experience and talk about it, show everyone that it's ordinary people doing extraordinary things,' explains Adrian. 'Then kids will say, "oh it could be me, maybe if i work harder and commit myself i really can do it".'

Queues start as early as 7.30am at 500-acre Olympic Park as the crowds roll in early to soak up the atmosphere.
