Daniel Radcliffe for Frankenstein film?

Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly set to star in a new adaptation of Frankenstein! Find out more.

Harry Potter star Radcliffe is keen to play the role of Hunchback, who helps Henry Frankenstein to create the monster, reports The Wrap.

The adaptation, helmed by Lucky Number Slevin director Paul McGuigan, will re-imagine Mary Shelley's Gothic novel as a science-fiction movie.

Max Landis is edging closer to finalising the script: 'I began to pick apart our knowledge of Frankenstein and discovered that the public's idea of this myth comes from a million different places,

'I became committed to re-contextualising it all so it all worked in one story,' explained Landis.

'By the end of the day, it's a period piece and yes, it's from [Hunchback's] perspective, but man it's cool.

'It's the best thing I've written.'
