The fooballer has signed a new two-year deal with football team LA Galaxy.
David's five year contract with LA Galaxy expired on 31st December, but he is believed to have re-signed for 'family reasons'.
The news follows reports that the 36-year-old had rejected a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Victoria had reportedly been enthusiastic about the prospect of life in Paris, but the couple were worried about uprooting their children, who have settled in in Los Angeles and attend school in the Californian city.
'This was an important decision for me,' wrote the superstar footballer on LA Galaxy's website. 'I had many offers from clubs around the world, however, I'm still passionate about playing in America and winning trophies with the Galaxy.
'My family and I are incredibly settled in America and we look forward to spending many more years here.'
