My sons are expected to be great footballers, says David Beckham

The star admits there's pressure on his three boys to follow in his footsteps

Beckham has admitted that Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 9 and Cruz, 7 are expected to be talented footballers because they are his sons.

'There are expectations on the football side for the kids. It's hard for them obviously' said the star to Esquire magazine.

'There's a lot of pressure on them. They go for try-outs and people automatically think David Beckham's son is going to bend the ball in the top corner at the age of 6'.

However the boys don't feel scrutinised. 'They're very confident kids. They take it in their stride' said David.
