The sexy soccer star has revealed that he prefers having a very small group of friends.

The LA Galaxy football ace spoke to Men's Health about his social life and the support he receives from friends.

The 36-year-old explained that over the years his group of '20 good friends' has gradually been reduced to three 'really good friends'.

'I've got friends at the different teams I've played for, but family is the most important thing to me,' he divulged.

'That will always be the case. I've got my wife. I've got my four kids,' he continued. 'I’ve got parents, grandparents still, and three really good friends.'

'It’s all you need. I’d rather have three really good friends than 20 good friends.'
