David Beckham pays school a surprise visit
David Beckham and the Olympic Torch
Becks was one of the main supporters of the Olympic bid and it was fitting that he should bring the Torch to Britain.
The 37-year-old football ace sent school children into raptures as he paid a visit to an assembly this morning.
The visit was a reward for the children of Vaughan Primary School, West Harrow, for their work in promoting Paralympic sport and ideals as part of the Sainsbury's Million Kids Challenge.
'This has just been one of the most exciting things,' said David at the school. 'There have been kids in this school and two million kids around the country trying out Paralympic sport. It is so amazing.
'Children are so honest,' continued the LA Galaxy star. 'It has been a long time since I was in a school, apart from my sons'.'
The teachers had been sworn to secrecy to keep the surprise!
The hunky former-footballer took no time in whipping off his shirt (and trousers) for a good cause!
It looks like this Beckham child has got a lot of hard work ahead of him.
One magazine, LOTS of different covers. The iconic magazine are celebrating the many varied faces of our beloved national icon, Beck's.
