Emma Watson would consider Fifty Shades role

Emma Watson is the latest star to reveal she would consider a role in the movie adaptation of the best-selling book series.

The steamy Fifty Shades novels are a world apart from the Harry Potter stories where Emma, who played clever Hermione Grainger in the films, made her name.

But 22-year-old Watson says she would be willing to portray Anastacia Steele in the big screen version of EL James' hit novel.

'The thing is I haven’t read any of the book because I haven’t read a script so it’s quite difficult to know what I’m turning down potentially but I hear it’s quite raunchy,' explained Emma.

'I mean if there’s interesting character development and there’s an interesting story then I would consider it - but I haven’t been offered anything.'

Robert Pattinson also recently joked that he'd be up for the part of Christian Grey in the planned adaptation.

'I saw some interview earlier, and they went, oh, it could never be [me playing Christian Grey],' said Pattinson to The Chicago Examiner.

'And I was like, "Hey, I’m going to make you all pay for saying that!"'
