Eva Longoria: "I'm lucky to have Eduardo"
Eva opens up about her failed marriage and meeting Eduardo Cruz.
The 'Desperate Housewives' star began dating Eduardo, the younger brother of Penelope Cruz, soon after splitting from ex-husband Tony Parker a year ago.
Eva's said that she was lucky to find him and that being happy together has made her failed marriage much easier to deal with.
"The truth is, I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. But I'm not. I was very lucky to find Edu", she told Vanity Fair magazine.
The 36-year-old actress also says that her failed marriage to basketball star Parker hasn't put her off tying the knot again in the future.
She added: "There's a reason I fell in love and got married. I believed in it. Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another."
Longoria also recently said that if a boyfriend were to propose, she wouldn't waste time being engaged and would want to marry fairly quickly.
She said: "I never believe in long engagements. People think engagement is another step. It's not another step.
"You're single and then you're married. The engagement is the planning party. So I always agree with short engagements. So many guys are getting married to buy time, 'Maybe this will buy me more time.' But if I'm the bride, I'm like, 'Oh no, alright let's get going.' "
The 69-year-old businessman was in the USA at the time.
