Knighthood for Burton, says Bonham Carter

Helena Bonham Carter thinks fiance' should receive knighthood

The "Harry Potter " actress has said in an interview with The Times that her partner, American director Tim Burton , should be knighted.

The English actress has pointed out that Burton , who's lived in the UK since filming "Sleepy Hollow " in 1999, has created many jobs in this country, since he mostly shoots his films here.

Burton often works on this side of the pond, because, according to Bonham Carter , "he loves British craftsmanship".

"They should give him a knighthood" said the actress ,  "an honorary one would be fine".

Burton and Bonham Carter have been together for 9 years and have two children, Billy Raymond , 7, and Nell , 3.
The family live in north London.
