The Duchess of Cambridge plans to work as a volunteer in North Wales.
Kate, who used to be in the Brownies as a youngster, is known for loving the outdoors and now she's decided how best to divide her time up as a working Royal.
She's been inundated with requests from charities and good-will organisations and is set to become a Royal Patron of four — the National Portrait Gallery, East Anglia's Children's Hospice, Action on Addiction and The Art Room.
A statement from St James's Palace said: "The Duchess's first patronages and her volunteer position reflect Her Royal Highness's personal interest in the arts, the promotion of outdoor activity and supporting people who are in need of all ages, especially young children."
The Duchess, who turns 30 on Monday, will undergo training before heading out to lend a hand, with the announcement already causing excitement amongst the youngsters.
Patrick Simpson, 10, a Cub Scout at 4th Enfield Scout Group, said: "It's amazing that the Duchess wants to get involved. She will have great fun and get to try out all sorts of things like camping and climbing and make lots of new friends."
Meanwhile, Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry are said to be planning a birthday party to remember for the soon-to-be 30 year-old.
