Van Cutsem is one of Prince William's closest friends. The other godfathers are: Oliver Baker, a friend of the royal couple who also went to St Andrew's University, Earl Grosvenor, the son of the Duke of Westminster and Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, the Duke and Duchess's principal private secretary.
A giant royal Christening card is delivering to St. James' Palace in central London as final preparations begin for Prince George's baptism.
The card, which was presented by the Peter Kerridge , CEO of Premier Christian Radio, reads: "Praying God's richest blessings on your Christening day."
The little prince will be christened on Wednesday 23 October at The Chapel Royal at St James' Palace. The service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury at 3pm and last for 45 minutes. Since Kate and William chose to call their son George the name has become very popular with new parents and it's currently one of the most popular for newborn baby boys.
Prince George’s great-uncles, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward and his great-aunts Princess Anne and Princess Sophie, will not be attending his christening on October 23rd 2013 as the future heir to the throne's parents want the event to be a small family affair. The christening will take place at Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace, rather than Buckingham Palace which is the more traditional choice of venue, and will be attended by only Kate and William's closest family members.
To honour the occasion, The Royal Mint have created a commemorative christening coin.

According to William Prince George reminds him of his brother, Prince Harry and himself and little Prince George doesn't like to sleep much, 'which is a bit of a problem' said the Duke of Cambridge.
An overjoyed Carole Middleton said her first grandson 'is absolutely beautiful'.

After 11 hours in labour, the Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a yet-to-be-named baby boy. Of his first born, the Duke of Cambridge simply said in a statement: 'We could not be happier'. Prince Charles too spoke to the press, saying: 'Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild.' 'It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy. 'Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone’s life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future.'

The royal baby is on the way! Prince William and Kate left Kensington Palace by car for the Lindo wing of the hospital this morning. A statement read: 'Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London, in the early stages of labour.'

JLS Marvin Humes has given Prince William some advice about his impending fatherhood. "Wills needs to get as much sleep as he can now, 'cos when the baby's born, it'll come in little stages." said the dad of one to the Mirror newspaper. "All dads have got to be hands on, so he'll have to change nappies too and sterilise the bottles."
